Veterans' Day Parade
« on: October 25, 2020, 10:49:12 pm »
I heard about a Veterans's Day Parade for this year where the Veterans will all be seated along the sides of the route and people will drive along the route in their cars to see all the different Veterans.  My, how times have changed, but I guess we have to continue to be creative.  Our church's Christmas Eve service is going to be outside this year!

I think it is humbling how much attention Veterans get in this country and it helps me feel happy I served.

I think the soldiers that died or were wounded in some way at least deserve a tribute for NOT knowing why that happened.

Thank you for your service.  🇺🇸 Both my dad and husband served.  My dad as a sailor in WW 2 on a ship that got torpedoed and my husband in Vietnam as a Marine.

I think that's a great idea not just because of the current covid situation . Keep in mind many of the veterans are older and some are disabled. :pumpkin: :rainbow: :peace:

I love Veteran's Day - and not just because of the free food (I am currently serving). I love the idea of honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free (and to allow people such as myself to have the opportunity to serve as well). I hope that there is a local Veteran's Day parade in my area.

That should be easy to guarantee. put your uniform on and start marching.

It is good to honor the veterans. They don't get nearly enough for what they did for our country. I am also talking about active duty military as well. You are truly heroes

Yeah let us celebrate all the wars and killings from the beginning when Cain killed Abel

Let us celebrate our freedoms.

Freedom to catch Covid
Freedom to be homeless
Freedom to be hungry
Freedom to be unemployed
Freedom to worship pagan gods

In god we trust?LOL!Certainly NOT Jehovah that Jesus said was the TRUE God.

Just a reminder Satan is referred to as the god of this system,so pretty accurate saying.

Very creative and a nice way to honor the veterans.  Everything seems to change with the times.
