I hope you are adjusting by now. I remember that my 50th birthday was the first one that really "hit" me!  For the first time, I, too, really felt like I was starting to get older. Well, now I am in my early 70s and realize, looking back, that the 50s were still a good decade.  In fact, between me and you (LOL) I met a guy when I was 51 who was 10 years younger and we dated for some time.  So there is still a lot of life left.  Happy Birthday!!!

Happy birthday! How many classmates of yours didn't make it to 50?  How many are here but incarcerated or too sick (whether mentally or physically) to enjoy it?  Adjust your perspective.

Today's my 50th birthday & I'm both happy & Sad! It just freaks me out to see how I'm now half a century old! It just feels like in a blink of an eye & now bang, I'm half way closer to death! I'm happy with all the greetings I received from relatives & family friends even online face book friends that I don't really know! This distancing laws we have to obey, is not really bad for me because, I'm an Simi-antisocial person so, lol things are just fine with not getting to close to others! So, I guess congratulation to me, I just survived another year on this very infected planet we call Earth!

Happy Birthday tantricia44!  You are absolutely correct in feeling like time has gone by in the blink of an eye.  I'm already 63.....but fortunately, I feel 40.  I have the energy and spunk of a 40 year old too.  I tell my kids that I refuse to get old!  Enjoy your day and all the good vibes from friends, family, and FC members!
