Thankfully, he is term-limited and thus he cannot be the President forever.

Nope he cannot. Nor can his nominee to the US Supreme Court be there "forever" - but he/she can be there for a lifetime. If he nominates someone like Amy Coney Barrett (just a few years shy of 50 herself) she could conceivably sit on the bench for another 30-40 years if we are lucky.

Maybe that will get the news shifted to another topic than saying she was an Icon and helped so many get equal rights. I wonder if they counted the equal rights all those murdered babies got?
i never even heard of her till here.

Of course my interest in politics is why.To say she can influence the election.duh...i dont think so with all thats going on.

OK maybe im wrong.Maybe she might sway 10 voters....LOL!

Pay attention here Donnamarg. If you really are opposed to abortion as you seem to proclaim - this is where you can actually make a difference. Trump has it within his power to make a lasting impact on that practice depending on who he nominates to replace RBG on the Supreme Court. Whether you agree or disagree with his way of doing things or his general demeanor, etc. this right here is a reason to vote for Trump in a few months from now.

The Republicans have the Senate and the White house, it makes sense to use the upper hand. I agree with Trump....

trump will do what he wants just like always.

TRUMP will do what he is permitted to do by the U.S. Constitution and what every single other President in the past facing this same situation has done. Why is it so damn difficult for people to understand this very simple truth, but instead want to make it out to be Trump going rogue?

Learn your history and your Constitutional Law folks! it's not that complicated!

Too bad that same fact was not followed for another president where the election was much longer away than the Clown/Liar-in-Chief and his equal Buffoon McConnell!!!
