I am just stating my opinion, that's all. And you are stating yours.
I know that you will not accept my citations and reasoning, which is fine; but you and your religion are not the sole authority on biblical interpretation is all I am saying. (And before you jump on that - I am not saying that I have all the answers either and I am not saying it in a mean or derogatory fashion - I'm just saying that you are not 100% correct).
I have backed up many of my prior thoughts using the bible, but you often pick and choose what you cite and how you respond, so I'm not going to take your bait this time.
Christmas is in the bible - not the date December 25 I will admit, but Christmas itself is in the bible.
Hell is in the bible.
The immortality of man's soul is in the bible.
The trinity is in the bible.
I choose not to post any specific citations because you would not accept them and will turn to another nuance of your own interpretation, deflecting the points I make.
Go Bless you, Donnamarg, your passion for the topic is certainly outstanding. I do mean that sincerely.
UGP i will say TY for your last sentence.
Im sorry you cant discern what is in the bible and what you believe.Just 1 example here as ive said many times......
Eccl 9:5 says the dead are conscience of nothing. If Lazarus was in a place of torment or bliss he would have mentioned that im sure after Jesus resurrected him.He didnt. It backs up Jesus saying he was asleep and God telling Adam we go back to dust.
U admit 12/25 isnt in the bible.Yes we should rejoice Jesus was born, but remember if he NEVER died his birth meant nothing.Thats why he gave the command after he dismissed Judas toalways remember the night he would die.Thats the ransom.Plus there is proof 12/25 is pagan from false gods. You know from bible how TRUE God feels about that with others as examples in bible when they worshipped false gods.It caused many Israelites to die after God saved them from Egypt.
