We need this in ALL cars not just Tesla!!  Speak up America, these babies are being cooked alive!! We must stop this forgetfulness and keep a closer watch on our children!

Tesla wants to use radar sensors to detect kids left in hot cars

Future Tesla cars may come with a built-in feature that can make sure no kids are inadvertently left behind in hot cars. According to the company’s filing (via The Verge), the device uses millimeter-wave radar technology to detect movements

And because it can detect breathing patterns and heart rates unlike weight-based sensor systems, it can tell the difference between an actual child and an object, thereby preventing false alarms.

 Finally, while the technology will focus on the vehicle’s interior, it can also scan up to six feet outside of a car. That would give it the capability needed to provide a more advanced theft prevention system that can detect broken windows and vehicle intrusion

That's a good idea. Hope all cars  have a sensor to  let people know a child is left behind. I still can't believe this happens makes me so mad.

No we need parents to put the pill bottle down, get their heads out of their butts, put the phones down for 2 seconds, and BE A PARENT!  If you can FORGET you have your child with you then you do not need the child to begin with. I have never forgotten I had a kid with me. Mine or someone else's. Never forgot I had a pet with me either.
