I have a vet appointment tomorrow for both my dog and cat. They told me to call when I get there and stay in the car. They're going to give my dog her vaccine right in the car and take my cat in for an exam and vaccines. Pay over the phone. It's almost like drive thru vet service.

We acquired a orange cat the other day,  He seems wild, we put water out for him. their are plenty of mice around.  When we make it to town will get a cat food.   My nephew did say a car stopped just down from my house the other day. and then he showed up.

Your vet is still allowing people to come in? Most of the vet offices near me are doing the curbside thing. They don't want any clients inside, so they are taking payments over the phone and techs bring your prescriptions out to your car.

i have 3 cats and i sure hope they cant get it...i do keep them plenty of food..and they ao out but are usually around the house or a neighbors yard...

I haven't heard anything about cats but I was very disappointed to learn that there have been a couple of cases of dogs getting the virus.

There is NO evidence yet that pets can be infected with Covid19. Idexx Labs, a veterinary diagnostics company, has already tested thousands of dogs and cats, and they have seen NO positive results.

Regarding the two dogs they say tested positive, it's likely that their infected owners shed the virus onto their dogs, for example by hugging, kissing or coughing on them. From my understanding, just because they found the virus in or on the dog does not mean the dog is actually infected with it. The virus would have to invade the dog's cells. Otherwise, the virus is just sitting on the "surface" of the dog, like it would on a countertop or doorknob. That being said, it's possible that if an infected person pets your dog, then you give your dog a big smooch, you could potentially get infected.

We have plenty of cat food and kitty litter, thankfully.

You're right. We don't know what might happen to our pets during the night so we should think about them and of course love them. I remember when I started to fall asleep and heard yelping from the downstairs. I was a little scared and decided to check the sound from below. Turns out it was my dog that was so suppressed that I started to call for the pet ambulance. When we arrived at the vet, the vet has checked him and said that he feels some injuries inside and prescripted an analgesic drug that probably would help. Later my doggy has taken this product but later he felt some more inner pain. After all that, I talked with my friend that is a dog lover. He said that this product is not useful and actually might cause internal damage. So he said that it's better to use glucosamine for dog arthritis since it is a product that helps with older ages of our lovely dogs. We still use it and my dog is finally play with me.

I have a dog (toy poodle) who has a thyroid condition.  I took her to the vet last week for a blood test to see if we have to alter or change her dosage.  When I got there, I called the office and a tech came out and got her.  The vet did the test and also an exam and the tech brought her back to me.  I sat in the car and a few minutes the vet called and told me everything was good and to keep Maggy on the same dose.

Our vet has been doing things that way for a while.  My cat has some issues but luckily we got things straightened out before they closed the lobby. I would not like that because he gets so scared anyway and I am sure would be worse if he was taken in without me being there.  I would rather they have you wait in your car until they are ready for you to go back and they could call you.  IF they wanted to limit the number of people in the lobby.

It’s ok with Maggy she’s fine, but I agree with you about going in when the vet is ready.  I’m glad Maggy is a dog, now my cats would be absolutely terrified.

Have 3 cats my son has been doing our shopping . He says there is plenty of food. They need especially one of them  flea meds like a collar  . The cheaper ones act as well as th3 more expensive ones. Hope those are in the stores.
