Sometimes on a sunday I wake up but lay in bed for an extra 30 minutes before getting out of bed. Every other day I am up at the crack of dawn. I just can't sleep in that much anymore :)
I enjoy staying in bed sometimes and watching the morning shows.  Usually I have to be somewhere, so that is really a wonderful luxury!

I was going to agree until the 100 dollar bill part, that may be more than laziness; that kind of fatigue may actually be a medical issue.

Have you ever had a day when you just couldn't seem to wake up and motivate yourself to do anything?  I mean you just sit around or lie around all day and watch the "boob tube"?  I swear, it has been one of those days where if someone had handed me a $100 bill and said, "Do something," I couldn't have gotten going anyway. One of the reasons could have been I slept a total of 2 hours the entire night, but I often have sleep problems.  Luckily, this doesn't happen often!  I hate it!!!

No, not a medical issue!  There are just occasional days when nothing motivates me!  I believe $1000 would have gotten me off the couch but not a mere $100 that I can go through in a day or two!

I have those days a few times a month. It occurs even worse when the weather is bad.

I know exactly what you mean; I purposely schedule lazy days after so many days of being on the run too much.  We must recharge.

I would feel guilty if I didn't accomplish something during the day.

Every so often I have a day where I just can't get off the couch.  And I never leave the house.  Then the next day, I'm fine.  Out and about.  Getting things done. I'm much happier that way.

Did that on Christmas Day as no one was coming over and really enjoyed the time doing it as this is a rarity with me.

Oh, I have no problems nor guilt about lazing the day away when I am able. I used to feel guilty, but I've learned to get
over that, LOL!  I can't always have the lazy lifestyle, though, because I do actually have a part-time at-home job that I must get done, and I also have my couple of GPT sites that I visit every day, not to mention errands and appointments.  :peace:.

I get those days every once in a while. They do not happen as frequently since I began giving myself two hours of free time on Sundays. I fashioned this two hours on my working out/diet regimen. The most successful shape I achieved was when I allowed myself one 'cheat' day per week (usually Sundays) where I could have anything that I wanted to eat and I did not do a strict workout. In the same manner, I get up early on Sunday but I watch some youTube videos or a crummy movie and it seems to satiate my appetite for screwing around. I do not consider myself lazy if I am rewarding myself with two hours to my self out one hundred and sixty eight hours in a week. I always make time for my family as well which is a reward all by itself.

Yup! Those happen to me, too....and most of the time they are much needed and enjoyed....
