Thanks to all the people who post new topics in this forum. The more content we have, the easier it is to get our monthly post requirements out of the way.  However, it's more than that.  New threads make the forum more interesting, more informative, and give a feeling of cohesiveness to the community. I will try to do my part at keeping new threads up and running!

Thanks for your post. You gave me something to respond to. I have made much more than my 30 posts this month but I really enjoy the Forum. I promise to do my part also. Here is to a good December in Forum.

Bostonphil, I always enjoy reading your posts.  I was hoping the topic would give others something to respond to and I truly hope members will add new material a little more often. It's so much more fun to have a variety of topics to discuss!

I agree with everything you posted here. I post a new topic myself anytime I come across anything interesting on the site, whether it be a positive or negative experience. I figure that if I sometimes have issues finding something to respond to, others are likely in a similar situation. Hence, I too am willing to do my part in keeping the conversation going in the forum.

The forum seems to be less active since I joined a decade or so ago. It could have something to do with the positive job market. Perhaps FC members have gotten better jobs or full time jobs and have less time to post in forum.

I am now retired and have more time to engage with FC and similar sites.

I agree, not as many posts in the Forum as there used to be back in the day and I have been doing FC for 10 years.

Besides seeing fewer posts, I have also noticed that a lot of regular posters are not as active.  I am hoping, as you said, that it is due to a better job situation and not that we are losing friends  :(

Thanks for the new topic and keep the conversations going!  8)

I've been with FC for 8 years and I agree that forum activity has slowed down a bit.

Great lately, lots of new ideas/threads to read and comment on!  Christmas is so commercial, I stay away from the stores and this forum has a lot of Christmas posts in the archive to read and repost for 2019.  New Years Eve, Day posts anyone?
