Youngest, Middle, Oldest, or Only

I am the oldest of 5, I have 2 sisters from my mom and 2 step brothers also from my dad.

I am the oldest of four. The others used to do whatever I told them to do, but now that we are adults, they hardly ever listen to my suggestions.

I am number 5 of 8 and had to take care of the younger ones most of the time.  Now the older ones seek my advice on many things so I guess that makes me the Mom of 7.
