My stepfather was German, so we had all manner of German food when I was a kid. My favorite, though, had to be brats and kraut! I can still remember my stepdad grilling those brats out on the patio. Boy, they smelled so good!

My 4 grandparents were all born in Germany, so I grew up in German food.  I love brats and if course kraut with it.
