Read it slow, several times, and it makes sense. lol

You can hate to go to work even if you like your job.  If you like your job then going in even if you hate to go is easier.... than if you hate your job.  Then you hate to go in and you hate the job.  lol

Does that make sense?  That is what I get out of it any way. :D

Please I understand completely - I am retired but before that I was to the point that I couldn't stand going to work. People who say "at least you have a job" I have no use for either they are probably the first to call out or quit.

That is pretty judgmental.  There are a lot of hard working people who are having trouble finding a job. And no they would not be the first to call in or to quit.  Actually they would be the one who is always there and never calls in, never late, always goes the extra mile even though they are not appreciated.  SO yeah they get annoyed with people who have a good job and cry about having to go to work.  So at least you have a job!

Saying you have no use to someone who says "at least you have a job" is no different than the unemployed person saying they have no use for people who have a job and complain about it.

There are not a lot of jobs in my area so yes the people who do not have a job get pretty put out with the ones who do and call in and complain all the time.

I know how you feel about not wanting to go to work. It happens even when you like your job. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing something and it is ok. We are humans and not machines. Sometimes we need a break from doing the same things over and over after a while.

I liked what I did put not all the crazy thing that went with I worked until I could not stand it any more and then retired and have no regrets.

And THAT is why more and more businesses are doing more and more automated. The machines do not whine or call in.  I have noticed in my sleepy little town several of the fast food places now have the kiosk where you place and pay for your order without the help of a person.

Eventually I see the cashier role being totally eliminated.  You have one person over seeing the registers in case there is a problem.  And if I were running a business - ANYTHING I could do with automation I would.

People are demanding higher and higher wages and want more and more benefits and want to give less and less effort.  Machines don't do that.  They sit there and do their job and you never hear a peep out of them.

When the kiosks are put in the fast food places in my area, that's when hubby will quit going to them and he loves McD's and BK.  He just got his first smart phone a couple months ago only because he couldn't hear on his flip phone. He has now learned how to take a picture but that's it. He doesn't do anything else with it.  He hates all this "new fangled" stuff and wishes it was still the '60s.

lol.  We still have ONE cashier.  That is about all they ever had anyway.  They will be lined up out the door and they have ONE cashier.  At taco bell the other day there was NO cashier.  No one would come up there. I just left.

As much nasty as I have seen with idiots doing the be nasty to food challenge I am about over eating out anyway.
