I do  a lot of sewing at times and then put it up for awhile. right now i am cutting out some craft projects for a non profit sales program.  they are different size  microwave  pot holders.  and they work great.  Good thing i have a lot of time  to  sew them up as  it does  take time.

I cracked up at this question! Thank you so much!  My one Grandma Kate sewed all the time on her treadle machine,  She made all of mine and my sisters dresses, and loved making our Easter dresses.  Well as a newlywed hubby bought me a modern 1970 sewing machine.  I successfully made a  two little strapped sun-suits for our first son.  My next adventure was a New Years Eve Event.  Total disaster.  I think i am dyslexic as I couldn't even figure out the pattern.  Thankfully my oldest friend came and coached me.. I saved the machine and gave it to an elderly friend!

I use to sew a lot but not much any more.  Don't have the time.
Have a wonderful day!

I do sew too. I used to sew quilts that slowed down, I can sew cloths, costumes they sell the most. but I like to sew the one-piece suits. My extreme sewing machine is down right now, only the simple one but it does the trick.

Not really... they taught us how to set up a pillow in home ec using an ancient foot pedal singer sewing machine and I think that was the only thing I ever did!

I have been wanting to learn how to sew for years but still don't know how. I have a sewing machine and I can thread it but I don't know how to actually form fabric into clothing :( Hopefully someday I'll learn. It's hard to find the time, too.

My mom, who took four years of sewing classes in high school, tried to teach me how to sew using a machine. And when I was in girl scouts my troop tried it. Neither went well. I just didn't seem to have a knack for it, which is a shame because it might save me money in the future (since I always have to take in jeans at the waist, regardless of what brand makes them).
