I am answering for all books since you did not specifically say Christian books. After I saw the movie, The Martian, I read the book by the same name and it has become my favorite because it was so fascinating.

I have many Christian books, but I never picked one as a favorite. I will take a look at We Over Me.

I would say ANY book by The Watchtower that has Jehovah Gods backing of bible truths in a world influenced and  blinded by Satanic/men doctrine that has a SURE hope in this ungodly world......and simplifies the truth that only those with the right heart condition can understand it.

Gods organization has even made it easier to not even have books and just have access to the internet to go onto JW.org and ask ANY questions RE life,God,Jesus etc.A bible aid that cannot be surpassed clearly showing the TRUE Gods backing.

My favorite novel/book is Salem's Lot by Stephen King.

He's a fantastic writer. However, I read this book about twenty or thirty years ago and it gave me the worse nighttime fears; not sleeping, but rather waking.

I was scared of the dark for a very long time to the point where I had to eventually stop reading his novels. I did read several of them, but I am very susceptible to the things I see and read.

On further reflection, Seabiscuit was an excellent book. Very informative about jockeys and such. I read the book after I saw the movie. May be too far back for some of you FCers. I don't know what the average age is here on this site.

Laura Hillenbrand did a superb job in detailing that period in history as well as opening up to her readers the backside stories of racing by focusing specifically on the Seabiscuit story.  Seabiscuit's trainer (Tom Smith) would also train for cosmetics businesswoman Florence Nightingale Graham (known for her Elizabeth Arden line); Jet Pilot provided her with the coveted trip to the winner's circle in 1947 after he won the Kentucky Derby by a head.

That book fueled my own racing experiences.
