CRVO
« on: December 20, 2018, 05:12:03 pm »
Has anyone ever heard of CRVO?  I had some blurry vision a few days ago and got it checked out.

CRVO stands for Central Retinal Vein Occlusion which is the big name describing a common retinal vascular disorder.

In simple terms, the retinal vein has some leaks (hemorrhages).  Some vision loss can be a result...if not treated, pretty much assured.

I will see a retinal specialist on Monday to see what can be done.

Never heard of it.   But DO get it checked out...eyesight is too important to play around with.  I recently had a problem with my eyes ( it was a virus).

Good luck with your eye appointment.  8)

Never heard of it, but keep God in your Prayers that everything will be okay with your Doctor visit.

Well, my appointment was moved up so I was seen today rather than waiting til Monday.

My eyes were dilated and then I got a shot in my left eye.  This should help the swelling go down and should help me not lose any more vision acuity.  I caught this early!
