Dealing with feeling discouraged
« on: August 30, 2018, 12:57:10 pm »
I don't get a lot of surveys, and I often don't hit the accuracy needed for the Daily Tasks. I have to take a break at times, then come back.

How do the rest of you handle discouragement?

Take a short break, when you spend too much time on one thing you just end up spinning your wheels in your head leading to frustration! Also, try other topics that may interest you, do more short surveys, cuz long ones will exhaust you quickly,

Just know that better days are ahead. Try to think positive even though you may not feel like it, you will find thinking positive will cause positive things to happen. Read books that are encouraging, inspirational and uplifting.  Don't dwell on one thing too long, stay active, call a close friend just to talk.  I'm sending flowers below your way to help brighten your day. Stay strong.   :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:            :rainbow:

I pretty much stopped doing the surveys because I never qualify anymore.

I hear ya.

I am 75, so most of my opinions don't count.

I drive a '95 chevy blazer, so I am driving or looking to buy a newer car.

No kids living at home.

Don't have credit cards.

Soooooooo, I am usually discredited, and cast out of the survey pretty early.....not always, but mostly.

At the beginning, I was often discouraged because I didn't qualify for surveys (which seem to be the money maker here), I readjusted my mindset and looked at what was reasonable for me.  I know have a routine -- earn .05 (usually HyprMx videos) to qualify for the PTC the next day.  Then each day,  daily email (.02) the PTC (.15), Top Coupons (.10).... that's .27/day and then I try to post one or two messages here to reach the 30 for $3/month.  When I have extra time, I try other stuff, but I don't count on it.  I have found that I'm able to cash out every 2 months with around $30 which is fine for me.  I celebrate when others can earn a lot, but I realize that is just not me.

Since adopting this routine, I am rarely discouraged (only when something -- like the coupons -- doesn't credit).  It might not work for everyone, but it does for me.

Keep plugging away! :rose:
