Cable has truly turned into a joke that I don't find the least bit funny.  My hubby and I have been turning to Amazon Prime.  We actually have a cable antenna around here somewhere that we need to hook up.  I also personally like YouTube.

Before we had cable, which I guess we could abbreviate bc, we had Dish.  I liked Dish.  We also like Ruku.

Most entertainment today is a joke.  I like the older shows.  The ones that were actually funny, clean, and good to watch.

I have thought about getting the Roku.  But from what I understand I still have to pay every month for a package to stream tv.  I keep hearing there are tons of free things to watch but I don't know what.  I guess stuff on youtube? I read something about Roku having free stuff on their channel.  Not sure.
Our go to stations are the ones featuring oldies but goodies.  Those are the programs we like too.  We're still able to do this with basic limited cable.

I would have no problem dropping cable for another option but right now we're on a bundle package.  We have to figure out how to strategically unbundle.

pictionary or go to your local library and rent dvds for free

I LOVE Pictionary. I can't ever get anyone to play it anymore. Same for Charades, which I also love to play.

What's wrong with people anyway? Are we just too lazy or what?

The amazon stick is the best of best.  You can program all the stations.

The Amazon Fire Stick, but right now they are being sued, so every one that bought one, they cut it off, so we are without watching all channels, but if you have Wi-Fi you can still watch shows, they aren't live, but channels non the less.

I learned that Prime Amazon has tv/movies/shows with their program, I love my cable tv, but if things heartbreak happens, I would see about that one.

After faithfully subscribing to cable for several years, I jumped on the satellite bandwagon approximately five years ago. Still a faithful subscriber (DirecTV).

Been a cord cutter for 4 years. I do not miss cable at all. I watch what I want, when I want. We have antenna, Netflix, CBS All Access and Amazon Prime. Programming on cable and networks has become so un-entertaining.
