Rain Rain Go Away
« on: May 30, 2018, 10:45:48 am »
I live in the Sunshine State but no sunshine here alas it has rained here POURED every single day for at least two weeks.  I am getting kind of sick of it.  I mean I love the rain usually IF I can stay inside but it stinks having to go out in it. Plus LOL I have managed to give away all my umbrellas. Do you like the rain? Makes me want to sleep.

Send it  our way we are just above being in a draught. Only 2 " in 6 months. We had hoped  that when the farmers started heir watering of the fields it would start to rain but so  far this month it  has only happened once. Maybe next month. Once we can get some moisture in the air it seems like it helps, but still such dry air.

We have had a lot of rain, probably from the current tropical storm, but thankfully, it has been coming and going.  We have periods of thunder and hard rain, then it clears up for a few minutes before it starts again.  I feel for the people in flood areas.  Too much rain is dangerous for them.

Grateful for the rain but even more grateful for the intermittent sunshine.

I live in California and we got a bit of a sprinkle yesterday, but we haven't really gotten any rain since about last October. I'm hopeful we'll get some soon.

We still need rain here in Tn.  It did rain here last night after I watered the garden.  The rain water will make it grow faster.

We've been having rain here also for the last week, but it's supposed to ease up for a couple of days, then back to raining.

I also live in the sunshine state and I thought the rain would be good for my plants, but as it turns out it's not! It caused my tomatoes to ripen prematurely and killed my Pansies! I guess nothing is good if it's overdone.
