It is funny because the actual 'official, original' clip is of a man's voice and he is clearly saying Laurel, which the actual creator of the clip, the man, claims he is saying Laurel. The debate comes in because the clip has been circulated so many times it has been 'distorted' to a hire pitch. In this clip, which I personally heard first, and the one most news broadcasts use, is of an elderly woman's sounding voice and she is saying Yanni. "Experts" argue the same point, that those with a 'younger' or 'higher' pitched eardrum will hear the higher sounds thus they hear Yanni. Those with "older" or "lower" in-tuned eardrums will hear Laurel. If one listens to the original male clip it never sounds like Yanni. No matter how many times you listen and no matter what you are using to listen. The clip that has been distorted to sound like an elderly female (which is the main clip in circulation right now) sounds like Yanni or a weird facsimile thus the debate is sparked.
