Computer problems-Which is it?
« on: May 22, 2018, 12:25:15 pm »
Is my hard drive dying is my motherboard? My computer is so slow in the past couple weeks and I don' t know why. I can't play games on it either because they are jerky and the sound is "choppy." So, which is it? Do you know? Hard drive or motherboard? I've never had this problem before.

My son left his supposedly identical computer here but he used it with a TV and I can't change the monitor size.  I was thinking about buying a refurbished computer (because I'm desperate) but if it's a problem that can be fixed from his computer parts, I'll do that.

I finally got my email fixed. Seems like Comcast went to IMAP but I never got notice to change my settings so after 3 weeks of trying to get it straightened out, today I got it fixed (knock on wood). I could send and receive on Outlook Express 6 but not Microsoft Office Outlook and that's the one i like the most. Then i got it fixed to receive on MOO but not send until today. Now I have 2 emails with duplicate AND different contacts that I will merge as soon as I find out how. :)
