Annulment is expensive and takes long time to approved. Especially if you are living in a Catholic country.

If a person has to get an Annulment to end a marriage, what was the purpose of getting married, waste of time and money.

There are a lot of circumstances that would make an annulment ok. Such as abuse, cheating, not having support or help with finances, finding out that they are on drugs and do not want to work. There are plenty more reasons, but theses are to name a few. :monkey:

I think it is up to the individuals involved.  If they feel they have no other option, then that is there choice.  As for me, I would not get married unless I was absolutely sure.

Do you believe in an annulment to end a marriage?

Depends on the situation.  If you married someone and then found out something really really bad that they had lied to you about and it was immediate then yes.  If you been married a while it is called a divorce.  Or that is what I always thought.  Like if you married a guy and then found out he use to be a girl and he didn't share that info with you.  Then I think it is just annulled.  Like it never happened.
