New home bound business old school style

Hubby and I had a  food wagon and would go to fairs and  events, we sold New York style sandwichs with high quality sasuage ,  with onions, bell peppers and tomatoes steamed, hamburgers, hot dogs , roasted corn, and iced tea, coffee and lemonade (using only bottled water as at lot of the places might not use the water all year until that event) .  It was a great business but as usual age catches up with you and was getting hard on the back. No bragging but we had good  items and we were always inspected by the health people and had an A plus  rating for cleanness and food product handling.. We worked hard at keeping it too.

In my neighborhood, there is an ice cream truck that comes around in the summer.  You know when it is coming because you can hear the music.

I live in a small town.  I remember an ice cream truck when I was a kid but we never had the money to buy anything from it.

I have noticed the past couple summers a couple of beat up vans that had coolers in the back and the driver sold ice cream bars out of the van.  I don't think they do very much business.

I would love to find a way to make money on my own.  But I can't seem to figure out a way to make the same income as I am making working.  I need at least what I am making now.

Back in the early 70's I rode the little Good Humor 3 wheel bike with the bell on the handle through a 12 block radius selling ice cream.
Had the cooler in front with a big chunk of dry ice in it.

My cheap friends started hitting me up for pay later ice cream then never wanted to pay up later...then they got mad at me when I made them pay on the spot and called me the "Bad Humor Boy"...whatever...did that for 2 years...I ate a bit of the profit myself but I was allowed to (within a certain amount)
