Trump tax bill

So I am trying to understand exactly how the tax bill that he has signed will affect everyone.

And I am not even sure I understand what he is signing.

I know the video I was watching said the standard deduction will be doubled and that the child credit will be increased to $2,000.

Anyone out there that understands a little bit more of what is going on?

In my opinion, it's much too early to tell. I'm just glad someone is doing something besides talk about it.

This is going to hurt us personally as we have 2 homes that have real estate taxes and one with a mortgage.  So between that the other items such as medical, state taxes, we will be over the 10,000. We per paid our 2018 real estates taxes for one house but could not afford to do both hopefully this help with 2018 taxes but 2019 is another story.  Our income will less as my husband retired at the end of 2017 so only time will tell.

I think it's going to kickstart the economy. Cutting regulations will also help.

Anyone who earns $24K or less won't have to pay any taxes. Supposedly, everyone will see an extra $4000 a year with the tax cut.
