Oh, Those Surveys!

I received a survey invite through email.

I completed the survey and go to the last page or pages. I can not remember if I submitted or moved on to the last page but I go this:

"Due to maintenance on our servers, access to our surveys and our website is currently unavailable. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please try again later."

I did not get credit for the survey and now I can not click back on because I have already done so.

Usually, I just accept these things but for this one, I have opened a support ticket.

I can see your point - that is an aggravating issue for sure.  I hope you get a positive response very soon. 

The last time I completed a survey and then was sent to that 'maintenance' page, I remember saying to myself "oh no you don't" and I simply refreshed the page. 

As it turns out, I was credited after all.  I can't say that will happen every time but in this case it did.

I got stalled after completing an entire survey. When I clicked "submit," nothing would happen. I tried going back through history to the page or two before it, and still no joy.

It's frustrating for sure. I can guarantee though that you are going to get their stock response, but it never hurts to try.

This has happened to me several times. I don't let it bring me down. i just keep keep pushing forward.

I also have refreshed the page when it happens and been credited... don't know if that always work, but it can't hurt to try it.... I don't think FC can help as it is the survey provider's problem

Thanks for the tip. I will try that next time. It can't hurt, right and maybe it will help.

It makes me mad to complete a survey and get to the last page and something goes wrong.  You have wasted all that time and don't get any compensation for the survey.  It is not right.

I totally agree.  I was about to start a thread yesterday about what has become a consistent disappointment with one survey panel in particular.  Because I was a bit tired and one of my favorite programs was about to begin, I waited until today. 

Not only was I tired physically but I have grown tired mentally because of all of these let downs. 

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy taking the surveys in general but ...

Unfortunately this does happen from time to time.  Best to just keep pushing forward!

Well, I got a very fast and very pleasant response from support regarding this situation. However, they were not able to help me with getting credit but soon after I got another email invite from FC. I did complete and I did get credit.

This is just one of the reasons I rarely, if ever, attempt a survey.  Not worth the aggrevation for me.  I applaud everyone who completes surveys, but I know my demographic is not one most companies are seeking input from, so I just avoid them.

Yeah I mean they are good at times and then it makes you want to pull your hair out.

rarely do I catch one of these - they are usually closed by the time I see em' -
