Wowzers 25 pounds? How many people are you cooking for? Our turkey is usually 12-14 pounds

Will he fit in the oven?

We like Scalloped Corn with Thanksgiving Turkey.  You'll have to double or triple this recipe if you are having a large crowd to eat that 25 pound bird!

INGREDIENTS
3 large eggs
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 cups corn
3/4 cup crushed saltines (about 23 crackers), divided
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325°. In a large bowl, whisk the first seven ingredients until blended. Stir in corn and 1/2 cup crushed saltines.
Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining saltines. Bake, uncovered, 55-65 minutes or until golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Yield: 6 servings.

I get the urge to make a T-day meas every year until Hubby talks me out of it. Even if i just bought the turkey for later would be fine. This week, our local store is selling turkeys fro $0.48/lb. with a $25 order. That's easy enough to reach.

We make this every year and never have any leftover but we add a crushed red pepper for a kick

READY IN: 15mins   SERVES: 6

INGREDIENTS
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
1⁄4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
2 (12 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained
DIRECTIONS
Cut cream cheese into small cubes and combine with milk, butter, salt and pepper in a saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until cheese melts.
Add corn and heat thoroughly.

Wow, that's a big turkey. You must plan on having a house full for Thanksgiving. I am sorry I do not have any corn recipes. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
