Lease cell phone

Do you lease your cell phone or did you pay cash for your phone? So far, I am still using my free Iphone 5 cell. I want a new phone, but not sure about leasing yet?

Never heard of leasing a phone.  Unless you are talking about where you make payments and then trade it in every few months for the latest greatest.  I would not do that.  Things you have on your phone can be recovered so no I don't want anybody to have my phone.

I always pay full cash for my phones. I try to get them at a discount so it doesn't hurt as much.

I bought my phone but with monthly payments. the phone cost 27.00 a month but I had a 15.00 a month promo so it only cost me 12.00 a month for 24 months. My friend paid cash for 600.00 . that seems hefty for a phone. of course the new iphone is 1000 so I wont be getting that anytime soon.
