sun rooms are nice.
they don't get as dirty as a screened in porch can.
you can adjust the blinds to keep it cool.
a ceiling fan is helpful to circulate the air.

porch is the best way to go and so much more protective.  I love sitting on the porch at night.

If I had a screened in porch, I would sleep out there. No question bout it.

would love to enclose our deck but the village where I live will not allow it as they consider it a permanent structure.  I consider the deck to be permanent so not sure what the difference is

We have a sun room that I grow plants in. It is nice but I would love a back deck that was screened in instead. Maybe one day!

I don't have a screened in porch or a sunroom.  I would love to have one that I could keep my plants in.   I have the best memories of a porch we had in the house I grew up in, we loved sitting in it and watching the happenings in the neighborhood.  We do have a back deck but wow does it get hot in the summer.

I don't have either, just a patio... I hope to retire to Texas & buy a big home with a screened in porch where I could just rock in my rocking chair watching the world go by... slowly :)

I enjoy all 3, screen porches, sun rooms, decks.  Different times of the year they are  each and all wonderful to relax in.

I like both a sun room and a screened in porch.  The screened in porch would be great to seat on when the weather is nice and you don't have to deal with flying bugs.
