Can you miss someone that you never met? such as a biological parent :confused1:

Interesting question.  I guess it would be like me missing my husband who is deceased.  I mean he isn't coming back but I still miss him every day.  I guess some people miss a biological parent because they never got to know them or meet them.

Of course it's possible. The desire to connect with one's parents is very strong.

I'm sure it hurts to wonder where they are, what they are doing and why they gave up their child.  :'(

Maybe.  It would be normal to wonder about them.  Honestly that is one reason I would never consider adopting a child.  Unless the parents were dead.  Lately seems like no matter how good of a home a kid has when they get 18 they want to find their "real parents or mother".  Not that there is any thing wrong with that.  But if I adopted a kid as a young child or baby and then as soon as they were old enough they went to find the person who gave them away and dumped me I would be pretty hurt.  I know a girl who done this.  She moved in with her real mother when she found her and she doesn't speak to the people who raised her.

I think what you really mean is that you are yearning to know them, not actually missing them.
