there are times you may get caught in the rain.
it's rainy season down here.
half the day is sunny and half is cloudy.
if you have errands to run or shopping to do, you may get caught in the rain.
some things take time and you can't rush.
I was going out for dinner Fathers Day.
if we left twenty minutes earlier, we would have been sitting in the restaurant dry and protected.
instead, we watched the parking lot waters rise.
even with tennis shoes your feet get wet in that downpour of rain.
we waited for it to slow down to a trickle.

Sounds fun to me. It's still very dry here and we're waiting on our rainy season. I love a good rainstorm or thunderstorm.

It's been raining a lot here too. I don't mind a little rain but sometimes it makes things a bit depressing. I love when it rains at nighttime because the sound of rain is relaxing.

We've settled in to the usual Summer pattern here, afternoon showers. I usually try and do my errand running early in the day, but occasionally, I get caught in rain. Not that I dislike rain, I really love it, but I don't want my groceries getting wet!
