Why does it feel like right when you are getting your head above water, you sink back down again. I have been struggle to make ends meet and as soon as I get comfortable and I am managing everything, they raise the fees on one of my bills. Now I have to come up with an extra $250 a month. I could barely manage before. I really feel like giving up but I know that I can't. I am just tired of always trying to think of a way to get by. It is stressful living that way.

Hello! :D :)

So sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately while your situation sucks it's not uncommon. The way things are setup you need to have more than one job to be able to support yourself. What I suggest is you cut back on some purchases and try to manage your money in a way to fit your new bill.

Welcome to life.  You aren't the only one feeling like that and struggling.  Penny pinching helps but it's not a permanent solution.  Hang in there.  We all have those days.

An extra $250 is huge when you are struggling to begin with.  When my mom was in assisted living, they went up on her rent every year.  It was hard to imagine some of those old people being able to come up with the funds. Keep positive!  You will find a way.  Are you familiar with EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)?  It provides self help for transforming your limiting beliefs about money and other emotional issues. It's free, easy to learn and it works!

OHHHH Don't get me started on nursing homes and assisted living places.  They make a KILLING!  When Pappaw was in the nursing home it was $5,000 PER DAY for him to be there.  And then they treat them like crap.

Got 8 different places I know help with those expenditures if you have a few months, 4-5 areas of debt get erased if you apply yourself to it. I' m on month #2 if that 6 month run & ended being very glad its there when the unexpected $300 cost jumps up out of nowhere. Hang in there. Things will get better.

I don't want to appear unsympathetic, but we all have to live within our means. I'm very sorry to hear that about the extra money you were charged. I was charged an extra 300 for rent that was already steep so I said I'm getting out! I did and got another place to suit my budget. I know some people can't just up and move. Cut the cord on other miscellaneous bill/s to remain within budget.

You have to get sick and tired of being sick and tired.  It's a simple decision.  Once you decide that you want more out of life, you will get more out of life.  Desire is enough, and with that, you will live a life that you never thought was possible.
