appreciate the donations they receive more than you possibly know.
someone may have some real nice clothes that have to be given away for one reason or another.

My family does give clothes to either Big Brother Big Sister, the Salvation Army, or a local Food Pantry which accepts clothes. Usually do it at the change of seasons.

I volunteer to feed the homeless and give to thrift stores.  Pass on what you don't need or want so someone else can use it.

I volunteer at a charity 1-2 days a week and i can tell you what ever  a person donates  is always appreciated, be it  clothing, food .money, toys, bedding . furniture or what ever there is a use for it for someone. It brings tears to your eyes when someone says i don't know  how were going to make it this month and joy to you heart at the same time. We do not  get any money or help from the government (nor do we want it) But our community supports us so much and we are all grateful for it.

We donate clothes to various organizations and we have a second hand store that resells clothes to raise money for projects for the poor and homeless.

The YMCA from the city nearby comes to my small town regularly to pickup donated items.
