It doesn't matter who the President is.Your mom doesn't want you to be sad,for sure.Celebrate her life,aggie49,remember the way she was and be happy because not everybody is lucky to have a mother.

Everyday since July 17,2016, I have had a hard time, That is the day that I lost my Daddy. I cry everyday and it will never be ok that he is gone. he is and was the best Daddy in the world.I love you my sweet Daddy. I know that my Daddy is with The Lord in Heaven and he is no longer in pain and suffering anymore. I still hurt and miss him so much. :'(

Honey there are many things in life that happen that we cannot control
One is a death.. The other mother nature
Don't beat yourself up for something beyond your control
Life always has to go on..
I am sure you wouldn't want to watch her in the process of passing
That would have been alot harder..
I'm sure your mom knew you loved her..
I'm sure she also loves you back and doesn't want you
to beat yourself up for something beyond your control
Seeing your mom in the state she was.. do you know what i mean?
When my grandmother passed away.. it was very quick..
She was on the couch asleep.. she sat up from her sleep and
next thing i knew she was gone.. That was hard to see.. It was hard
to be the only one there...
and to see her like  that just about killed me
you can't unsee things
and that is something i have to live with for the rest of my life
God put's us in certain situations for reasons we may not
understand but it's always in the best of our intrest
I am deeply sorry for your loss..
I won't sit here and tell you i know how you feel
one because i hate that line.. and two
because everyone grieves diffrently
but just know.. we are all here for you
praying for you
and will be in all of our thoughts and prayers

Aggie:  I am right there with you.   My mother died years ago after a battle with Alzheimer's, being out of state, and us never apologizing to each other after a major disagreement.  Within the last 7 months, my brother-in-law and my only sibling both died.  I also have lost track of a good friend during this past year.  She doesn't seem to be interested in pursuing our relationship after getting married.

All we can do is stay as positive as we can and take good care of ourselves.  Don't turn down social engagements, proactively pursue activities and hobbies, and do things that bring you peace, such as listening to music, journaling, meditating, exercising, taking a bubble bath with candles, or what have you.  Time eases all even though memories will seep through.  Cling to the good ones...the ones that make you smile.

And God blessed all! Some are still here...while others are not.

So sorry for your loss, and I'm sure most of us have lost someone we loved very much, whether it is spouse, sibling, parent, child, or friend.  Just be thankful and grateful you had a mother and had a loving relationship with her, that's more than a lot of people have.
