Your traditional or family recipes !

Is there one person or many, who makes or bring something to your family feasts that would missed by all if it wasn't part of your meal ? And or do you and your family potluck for the Holidays ?

Our family (extended with my parents and siblings/their kids and their kids) gets together just once per year in the summer.  We do potluck for the side dishes.  The main course is catered locally --- pulled pork or BBQ meat --- so that no one has to travel with meat dishes.

The one food that I always look forward to is Old Settler's Beans.   I love it, but never make it since no one else in my family cares for them.

It seems like my family is not  picky, they eat every thing i make and  i rarely have any to bring home. But the kids really like  my chicken. rice and broccoli with cheese, But i think if it taste good they will eat it, they all have hollow legs and still growing.

My mom's croissant rolls.  They are the best.

Mama makes everything good, so without her it would truly be a loss.
