I believe those types of people, are just people.  We all have flaws and insecurities, maybe to different degrees and we handle them differently.  I find it best to just show them love anyway.  Pray for them.  And if it affects you too much emotionally, walk away.

For me it's easier to just walk away.   Not worth it to call them out, deep down they know what's happened and are probably really hurting inside.   Just ignore it, let them be.

I'm in total agreement.  That's pretty much how I handle it as well.  I feel that my time and energy can be used for so many worthwhile things: Bible reading, taking care of my husband, our home, our beautiful pets, our business and, yes, myself too. 

By the time I accomplish all of that and whatever else has to be done, I don't have time for non essentials.

I generally avoid people like that.  If I can't and I wind up in a confrontation I tell them off.  I'm straight foward like that.  I don't hold it in because I have way to sensitive a stomach so if I don't and it sits in my mind how angry they've made me with their attitude I get physically sick.  So like I said, I avoid at all possible and if not, I let them have it.
