Have you used your AARP lately, if so where and what type of benefits did you receive. I used my for the first time at Outback Steakhouse house recently  and received 10% off my meal.

Go under benefits on their website.  There are lots of benefits.  Outback, Dennys, UPS just to name a few.

People have told me that AARP is a waste of money so - I've always thought I could live without it.
Have a great day!

It costs 12 to 16 dollars a year.  You can use only once or twice a year have it covered.  They offer discounts in all kinds of places, restaurants, museums, hotels, motels, osh, amusement parks your friends were mistaken and just did not take advantage of them.

I have not joined AARP yet, but I probably need to.  I know there are a lot of places where you can get a discount if you are a member.

Thanks for a quick overview of the benefits.  I haven't looked into it, but looks like it might be time.

I, too, just used my AARP card for a discount for the first time while on vacation in NV.  I have had it for over six years now!  I originally joined to get the health insurance but then found out that they couldn't cover me because I lived in KY and was under 65.
Have a wonderful day!
