I pick it up once in a while at the store if I see a good article in it. I used to read them all the time at work before the internet

Readers Digest was one of the magazines that my mom had a subscription.  I loved reading it growing up.  Was always great reading before bedtime.

My mom also had a subscription to Reader's Digest and I used to love to read the jokes page every month when I was a kid.

Many years ago, a teacher told me: Readers Digest is written for first graders...
so quit reading them.

I love Reader's Digest. I had it delivered for many years, then somehow let it lapse. Started up again awhile ago. It's so easy and fun to read, with it's varied stories and jokes. Great to bring with me when traveling.

I really like Reader's Digest in fact seeing this post reminded me how much I enjoyed the last subscription I had - it has been a couple of years because at the time I didn't feel like I had the money to spend on it but now I think I will get another one and one to Guidepost which I also enjoy reading it is very uplifting.

It's a great periodical. I always enjoy reading it.

They don't resort to sensationalism and other ways to pander to the masses. :angel11:

Refreshing indeed. :rainbow:
