My husband always always always get's me flowers.  Oh they are pretty but I'm not much a flower gal.  I'd rather get new decorating tips or color gels.  I mean... that would be love.

i would like to have more understanding in the world and peace on earth --i know its about couples and love but why cant it be about love to all regardless of race or religion??

My husband is terrific and romantic, but our anniversary is just a few days before Valentine's Day, so we just prefer to order in that night and enjoy some good wine or champagne.

I am blessed so on or near Valentine's I do something random.  I gave a clerk a Starbucks (baked for Valentine's) heart-shaped sugar cookie just because.  It's a double because it's a surprise for doing what you do well (appreciation goes a looong way in this world) and it's a token of 'love' as kindness is a form of love.  We can all use some of that.
