there are numerous apps to choose from.
Facetime is good; not everyone has it.
Skype is good; you have to "get" people to join.
I wish Talkatone would add video chat; it works for all my contacts as far as texting is concerned.
There are a number of frivolous chat apps for talking to strangers. [no thanks]

Facetime is good for apple users only. skype is great for family that lives far . and other chats I do in other websites.years ago, I used to belong to aol and the chat rooms there. that was then and this is a different error for technology

Facebook video chat is pretty good. It's way easier than using Skype or Facetime.

I only like facebook, but only to see that my family is doing and to chat with them.

I use Skype occasionally but not too often. I am not a huge fan of video chatting.
