we was sitting around talking about who is coming for christmas and i got a phone call that one of my long time friends was in town and coming over we have not seen each other in over 40 years we was best friends all threw school and we loss touch with each other it is so great like we never was apart so catching up on her life and mine

Do you know what to capitalize? Christmas for starters and the first word of a sentence.  The word you should be using is through not threw and you must not have been that good of friends if you lost contact for over 40 years hmmmm
