circus acts

a man or a woman on stilts can be amazing to see.
I met a lady who was on stilts at a party.
she also did balloon animals.
so she was walking on stilts and making different shapes at the same time.
she had balloons and the air pump she needed in a shoulder bag "way up there".

Never have I been to a party like what you are describing but I have been to the circus & might have seen the above who you are speaking of. I know it has to take lots of training and discipline to be able to walk in those rigid death shoes!

I saw two folks on stilts when I went to the margariteville restaurant in Orlando. They were also making balloons for kids.

I went to a circus once.  I love animals and thought I'd love seeing the animals there but...I didn't.  For the most part, I felt sad for them & it sickened me so that I never went back.

If circuses want to focus more on people and things that they can do (such as stilts & balloon-making, etc.) then that would be great.

Poor animals don't have a choice.  The ponies, dogs & monkeys might love the attention but they deserve better treatment.

The "wild" animals don't belong there at all.  Period.
