What are your plans for this weekend?

This coming weekend I will attend a bridal shower for a young lady who is a very good friend of my daughter.  This young bride has lost both parents in the past few years.

I hope to stop at the apple orchard afterward.

Sunday, we will have the kids over for family meal/BBQ/birthday celebration for 4 September birthdays!

It is only Tuesday and we are already looking forward to the weekend schedule? I'll probably do the same thing I do every weekend...taking over the world! Maybe not. I will be doing the same thing which is working. This week promises to be fifty hours (minimum) at the day time job and about forty five hours on the night time/ weekend job. Probably six hours on a third job I have going. My son has started autumn lacrosse so I will break away for three to four hours in order to watch his game which will be the extent of my fun this weekend. The weather is looking a little rainy this weekend which always makes it easier to jam out work hours. I always have a pang of guilt when it is nice outside and I chain myself to the desk.

Studying for and taking an exam that I haven't started studying for
I don't even know why I do this to myself. I read everywhere all the time that the degree I'm working on is a waste of time. I suppose I just like to torture myself with deadlines and excessive amounts of student loans.

I canning tomatoes on Saturday and we have a double header softball game for my girls. I'm excited!

The county fair is this weekend.

My grandson's first birthday is Friday.  We are having his first birthday party on Saturday.  On Sunday we are going to a NICU anniversary celebration because when he was born he only weighed 4 pounds and was in NICU for 2 weeks.
