International Cat Day
« on: August 08, 2016, 07:18:55 am »
I've always loved animals; but, I've never had a cat.  I still think they're fascinating and entertaining. How do you feel about cats?

Have a great day!

Cats are pretty boring and moody to me. They are not as "boisterous" as dogs. On the other hand, they are pretty independent (e.g., do not have to walk them, they "clean" themselves). But I still prefer dogs.

I've had both and I prefer cats to dogs.  They are easier to take care of with an already busy family schedule and can be left alone for a weekend getaway if necessary.  They are much more independent and "moody" than dogs, and rarely come running when you call them like a dog would do.  But still my first choice for a pet.

I have 2 dogs and a cat,  the dogs want/need more attention, let me out, let me in, throw my ball, let me out, let me in, throw my ball

sometimes I just like to sit quietly and enjoy petting the cat who wants nothing from me

I have both.  I love them equally, but there are differences.  Dogs are more needy, cats more independent.  Dogs will come when you call and sit on you or near you, that's a dog thing.  But there's something special when a cat jumps on your lap, purrs, and settles down for a nap.

I had a cat once. She was a stray and I adopted her.  Then she ran away one day and I never saw her again.  I still look for her, but its stupid because she'd be like 40 years old.

I love cats...they love for you to cuddle with them, but they don't require the amount of attention that a dog would.  They're so entertaining to just sit back and watch them playing

I love my cats.  They're all so individual with their very own personalities.  They do everything a dog does, except slobber, which is fine with me, LOL.

I love my JC. She walks on a leash with me. The best thing, I see her looking at me as if I was the most beautiful woman in the world, and you know you can't teach that lol lol.  Everyone have a gr8 Cat Day!

We had a cat for 18 years but one day he left the house and never came back. We hunted all over for him but never found him. He must have gone off to die by himself somewhere. We loved the cat. He would catch mice and bring them
to the doorstop in the morning to show us and he was very affectionate when inside the house.
