« on: June 23, 2016, 02:39:31 pm »
might be fun just to see what my cat would do.I know they are kind of expensive but some people seem to love them .They came out a few years ago maybe there better then when first out. Will have to go check out at sears or some place.

I want one but have never thought they would be very effective for the cost... I wouldnt mind hearing other peoples experiences!

I have a lot of pet hair and dont know how it would pick it all up.

I just got a knock-off self-vacuum for Xmas last year, but I haven't even pulled it out of the box yet. Part of the reason why I haven't tried using it is that we're planning to put in new flooring this year (carpets are terrible for a house with 3 pets), but I'd like to give it a go once the new floors are in.

Ive never wanted one, I too didnt figure they would work that well. Speaking of cats tho, what would stop if from running over your cats tail? Not a happy cat!

A Roomba would be perfect for our home being that all the rooms except the bedrooms are tile and wood.  It would certainly keep the "tumble weeds" (cat fur) down to a minimum but man, they're just too expensive for my blood.  Thinking about it now, it would probably scare the stuffin's out of the cats, anyway.

I have one and I think it works great on any time of flooring.

I don't have one but I have researched into buying one. I think my dogs would keep barking at it.

If I got a roomba I would always fear if it would get stuck somewhere

They sound useful. I question if they do a good job of vacuuming though.

I didn't know what a Roomba was.....until after reading a few posts in here.

I have no desire to own one.  I wonder how good of a job it would do.

I have seen a video of a cat riding on and that looked fun for both the cat and the owner.

I would get one if I could see a real demo and knew it would work at my house

I have always wanted one but it would terrorize the dog.(not to mention the price is a deterrent !)
