Survey DQ - Shaking my head
« on: June 23, 2016, 02:24:26 pm »
Ok, so I get a survey by email (I usually try those).... alls going well til I answer "are you registered to vote" as yes and am disqualified.  Happy with my penny but seriously I have to wonder what their demographic is!

it's hard saying why we qualify for one survey but not another... I don't try to figure out the reasons, just do them as I get them

It is hard to say why you didn't qualify for the survey. Maybe the survey was to enjoy someone to vote and/or find out why someone isn't a registered voter. I know some businesses and organizations are interested in finding out how to get more people to get registered and interested in voting on common concerns.

I don't waste a lot of time worrying about the demographics, this one just struck me as funny for some reason.  I agree with you manders8 -- maybe the were looking for unregistered voters and trying to determine why.    I once attempted a survey for females and was DQd as soon as I answered that I was female.  I'll take those pennies though!!

They asked me that and when I clicked on Democrat, instant DQ! I thought if I clicked on Republican would they have accepted me! Makes you wonder.

I do wonder what they want sometimes. I've even been DQ'ed from surveys that pertain to people from my city when I answered Yes I live where I do!  :confused1: It's a funny game, survey taking!

I wouldn't have accepted you then either, LOL.  I'm a Republican and I got DQ'ed, too.

The survey could have been with persons not registered to vote. It could also have been a trick question. You might have bumped out earlier and the client did not want you to know what disqualified you. No matter what you said when asked if registered to vote, you have gotten the sorry message.

There's just something about getting that penny that eases the bite of a bad experience, at least it does for me.  Knowing that the time spent was not a total loss is comforting.  After all, I think all us like minded folk would agree that the pennies add up!

That is interesting.  Whenever I would get the survey question about being registered to vote, I had to honestly answer no since I'm not.  I, too, would be DQ'd.

Then there are the surveys about pets.  Since I have pets and should be very well qualified to complete a questionnaire, when I get to the question about how many pets I own, my answer is '5 or more'.  Nine times out of ten I am DQ'd right after that.  ???

It would be interesting to know what their surveys are about.

maybe they got enough demographic, before they can take the survey down.

I guess if you think about it, it could have been a question before that.  It could be several things that disqualified you.  Maybe it was age, or sex too.  It is really hard to say why you are disqualified.  It could just come up after a series of questions.   ::)
