On week day 8 or 9am and on a weekend 9 or 10am.

we live in a very family oriented neighborhood with a lot of older people so my husband doesn't usually start mowing until 8 or 9 am...that gives the neighbors time to get up and moving around and it lets the dew dry a bit on the grass.  we have 2 1/2 acres to mow. he's usually done with the riding mower and weedeating by 10-11..so it's not too very hot.

tomorrow I wish my son would mow the lawn...he won't start if he does till about 10 am. it gets hot where we live so seems about the right time for him to get to mowing and pulling weeds that won't happen.

It depends on what day it is and how wet the grass is. I would say 8am.

I would say around 9 in the morning in reasonable. It gives people time to sleep in, and it's a common time for people to start waking up. I think it's great that you are taking into consideration the people around you, unfortunately not many people in this world are like that anymore!

I didn't get a chance to mow yesterday at all......our son borrowed our lawnmower; so the mower wasn't even in our garage!

Between 8am and 9am are reasonable times to mow when the weather forecast is so high including heat advisory warnings.

yes, I want to be considerate of our neighbors.  But sometimes due to our 12 hour work shifts, the lawn gets longer than we want before there is a day to get the mowing done.....then, when the weather gets so hot, it makes it tempting to get out there as soon as the dew is dry.

My husband is taking care of the job today!

I never get up early anyway.  I will now around 11am or in the evening depending on how hot it is.

It probably defends on the day.  On weekends people want to be able to sleep in.  I would use the same time table as a person who lives in apartments and uses their vacuum cleaner.

No earlier than 9:30 AM on weekends.
Have a great day!

This is a question I ask my husband all the time. I want to get out good and early to mow my lawns, mainly because it is cooler first thing in the morning, but my husband tells me I have to wait until a reasonable time which differs from week days to weekend days. He says I shouldn't mow much before 9am on a week day morning, and then 10am on a weekend.

Temperatures are going to be in the 90s.
My lawn needs mowed.

How early in the morning can I start mowiing? I want to respect my neighbors sleeping.

What time would YOU start the lawn mower in the morning?

6am?
7am?

You can mow when ever you want to.  If my yard needs to be mowed and it is upper 90's I will mow as early as I want and my neighbors can deal with it.  I don't worry about waking them up in the mornings.  They don't worry about keeping me up all night.

I would say 9 a.m. would be a good time instead of 6 or 7. 6 seems way too early. 7 seems a little too early. 8 seems okay.
