When FC doesn't know if it's a bleeper or looks suspicious they cancel it. Some people do get carried away with their language.  I am sure that FC has protect themselves  because therer are policies to follow.

I posted a comment yesterday and typed a word that sounds like sillies but begins with a "W" and it was bleeped out!? Correct me if I'm wrong but since when is that a nasty word? LOL. Whats next, you can't type "darn" without being censored? This just struck me as being so odd, I thought I'd share it with the community.

Some of them are stupid.  I had c-r-a-c-k-e-r bleeped out.  Since when is them square hard bread like things a bad word. lol

It's called being "politically correct."  Don't want anyone getting their knickers in a knot over "words!"  Don't want anyone having a panic attack and then needing a "counselor" because they saw a "word!"

Maybe they think the word "c-r-a-c-k-e-r" can refer to the racist word for white people.  ::)

And although the words can be bleeped, you can find your way around it by putting dashes to throw off the censor. You know, like b-a-l-l-s.  ;)

Just FYI, you did type the word "darn" and it wasn't censored. I'm sure they probably have a list of words that might be offensive and they just bleep them all indiscriminately without viewing them in context.

If you preview your answer before you post it, you can see what word got bleeped and just put dashes in it or change it to another word that is acceptable.

When posting new comments in the forum: Red lines mean "there is something wrong with that word".
Go to Google and enter: Dictionary and the word. You will get the correct spelling and meaning. Then, correct your comments.

Another option to get around the censor is to use markup codes in the middle... The markup codes are those letter codes in square brackets that get inserted automatically if you click on a formatting button. You can also just type in these codes if you know which to use. By putting in the markup codes in the middle of the word, the forum censor doesn't see the complete word and so assumes that it is ok. For example, I can type:
Balls
and get
Balls
(similarly, I was able to "write" the markup codes in the example by doing the same to interrupt the markup codes using a different one, in this case for italicized font).

Well it is what it is, but people are going to talk how they want whether it's censored or not... Sad but true.
