That does seem a little excessive, but could be a crossing error...I got reminders about scheduling my appointment from my eye dr., but I have held off for the time being...my dentist sends me texts and mailings too which I appreciate....as long as you don't get charged, don't take it too personally

I actually have told them to stop texting and emailing me.

I would find that annoying also!  I can understand sending reminders but not actually making an appointment  I would look for another eye doctor and ask them up front if they do the same thing before you start going there.

I am going to.  And I had already thought I would ask if they auto make appointments.  A lot of places are doing that.  Kind of like when you order magazines or virus protection for a computer.  They auto renew it without asking and just charge your credit card.  I am pretty sure they have a deal where you can get a one time use number so the company never has your real credit card number.
