Is it just me, or they completely overrated?

What drafts? Do you mean for sports? If so, then they definitely aren't overrated, they set up a team's future and prosperity.

I think the coverage of sporting drafts might be a little overrated, esp. the football draft... It seems like ESPN has become "Draft News 24/7" this week in preparation for the NFL draft. Although part of the reason why the general public gets interested in the draft is because of fantasy football. By watching the draft and listening to how the "experts" rate the players in the draft, a person playing FF can have a better idea of how well these players will do during the season and can make better selections for their fantasy team.

Draft day is fast approaching in the NFL, most players never live up to the hype they get during draft day but its fun to speculate!
