Yum! Almost the same here. I'm making a pot of sauce (gravy) with tons of meat in it like meatballs, pork and sausages with rotini macaroni (they look like the spiral cork screws) ... simmering as we speak, should be ready about 4pm. Then I will cut up some nice Italian bread and make an olive oil dipping sauce. Sunday family dinners are the best! :)

Cook about 2 pounds of chicken *bleep* in oil.  When cooked take out if pan set aside.  Put in cup Italian salad dressing in pan, add soy sauce and honey. Let cook for a few minutes, then put in mushrooms and fresh green beans.  Cook for several minutes until beans cooked.  Add cooked chicken and heat for a few minutes until chicken is warm.  I'll make some kind of potatoes, garlic bread, salad.

I out a chicken in the crock pot a bit ago, made baked stuffed squash (cut out inside diced added cheese. ranch dressing and garlic), and I cooked noodles.  The family enjoys this meal.

Today is a Chicken Italiano recipe that cooks in the crock pot.  My sister-in-law is a chef and she created an online recipe program called onceaweekcooking that my wife and I tend to follow.  Each week you get six (I think) new recipes.  You do your grocery shopping for all the ingredients and then cook EVERYTHING in one day and freeze it; then you prepare each dish per the re-heating instructions on any given night.

With our family schedules and commitments, we often relied on Burger King and Taco Bell and Little Caesars for dinner and that just wasn't healthy or frugal.  This has turned into a better way to plan our meals, with something new and tasty every day!  All homemade = not boxed or processed; not fast food; not from an expensive restaurant.

This week, instead of the new recipes that came out, we decided to redo a couple of old favorites from past weeks.  This chicken was one of our very favorite, so my wife decided to make it for today to celebrate my birthday!

I made zita noodles in marinara sauce, just have to add a salad and garlic bread, so when ever we are ready so is dinner.   I love crock pot cooking.

My wife and kids are eating grilled chicken breast with green salad. I am eating Ahi tuna. Although I don't know yet what manner to cook it. I could just eat it raw with green onions, cucumbers, chili peppers, and sesame oil with a little bit of soy sauce and sesame seeds.
