they say its warm in the pool but i think it is still a little bit to cool but hey they are a lot younger then me so i told them go for it i will sit on my deck and read check my fc and emails

kids don't feel the temperature like us ! lol they just think its great fun and go for it ! hope they enjoyed the day and that you did too

i agree kids don't feel the cold like we do. if we left it up to kids they would go swimming all year around.

I get a kick out of seeing a kid waiting outside of the water to use the diving board, their bodies shivering uncontrollably and their lips turning bluer by the minute. Yet if you ask them if they are getting too cold and want to go home, they'll turn right around and say no, that they're having too much fun!

when i was younger, You couldn;t get me out of the pool. now it is more like, You want to go swimming in ice water?

I love to watch my two children swimming and having fun. We have a swimming pool in our small town, but it is only open during the school holidays. It only costs $1 to get in (swimming or spectating), and they are open every afternoon and evening. They have a full cover of Red Cross swimming instructors and lifequards each day - I'm sure they can't be making a profit. There is one small diving board and a little tube which always has streams of people queuing to get on. When the pool is open, I know it's finally summer!
