Sonny James was  a country artist that made his fame in the 1950’s when he began producing romantic ballads. His number one song titled Young Love sold over 3 million copies that catapulted him to new heights of success. Other hits of his included: It’s the Little Things, You’re the Only World I Know, I’ll Never Find Another You, Empty Arms, Behind the Tear, Take Good Care of Her, When the Snow Is on the Roses, That’s Why I Love You Like I Do and Here Comes Honey Again.

More than a decade later in 1967 he began one of the most impressive streak ever seen in country music history when he produced over 16 consecutive number one songs that ended in 1971.
